Battery recycling technology was at the centre of discussions as E-Waste World 2026 came to a close in Frankfurt, bringing together professionals, technology providers and industry experts focused on the future of battery recycling, e-waste processing and advanced material recovery.
For LINEV Systems, the exhibition was an important opportunity to meet companies working across the recycling sector, exchange practical experience and discuss how AI-powered X-ray inspection technologies can help improve safety, accuracy and efficiency in modern recycling operations.
During the event, our team welcomed visitors to Stand C85 and presented BATTERAY™ ZETA, an advanced X-ray-based battery sorting solution designed to identify batteries by their internal composition. The system supports more accurate battery classification, helps reduce the risks associated with mixed battery streams and contributes to cleaner material preparation for further recycling processes.
The conversations at the exhibition confirmed the growing demand for reliable technologies that can support recycling companies in dealing with increasingly complex waste streams. From lithium-ion batteries and mixed e-waste to material recovery operations, the industry needs solutions that combine detection accuracy, operational stability and intelligent automation.
