Datasheet
CARTPASS X is an AI-assisted X-ray screening system designed for the inspection of fully loaded airline catering trolleys and service carts. The trolley remains stationary on the internal platform during X-ray acquisition, allowing security personnel to inspect the load without routine unloading or conveyor transfer.
Full-height transmission X-ray imaging with dual-energy material differentiation is designed to cover the approved trolley envelope, including the loaded body, upper and ice compartments, corners, wheels, brakes and undercarriage. A-EYE™ provides indications for operator review, while the operator retains the final screening decision.
CARTPASS X is designed around the workflow of airline and business aviation catering operations. The trolley is loaded and unloaded through the same front access point, while a powered lateral sliding shielding door controls access to the inspection chamber. The normal screening cycle can be performed by one trained operator, from trolley identification and positioning through scanning, image review, decision recording and trolley removal.
The system combines X-ray evidence with trolley identification and inspection records. 1D/2D barcode identification can be linked with X-ray images, available A-EYE™ indications and the operator’s screening decision. Records can be stored, searched, retrieved and exported, supporting traceability throughout the inspection process.
Image-review functions include high- and low-penetration views, zoom, contrast adjustment, image recall and archive review. Unresolved findings can proceed through the customer’s defined secondary inspection procedure. The cabinet is equipped with transport castors for controlled relocation within the facility.

Key features
Loaded trolley screening
Inspect fully loaded airline catering trolleys without routine unloading, repacking or conveyor transfer.
Full-height dual-energy imaging
Transmission X-ray imaging with dual-energy material differentiation supports detailed review of mixed trolley loads.
Full trolley coverage
Designed to cover the loaded trolley body, upper and ice compartments, corners, wheels, brakes and undercarriage.
A-EYE™ assisted review
AI-assisted indications highlight areas requiring closer review while the operator retains the final screening decision.
Trolley identification & traceability
Link trolley identification, X-ray images, AI indications and screening decisions within a searchable inspection record.
Single-operator workflow
One trained operator can identify, position, scan, review, record the decision and remove the trolley from the same front access point.
