Description
The incident beam mask limits the size of the beam in the axial direction. In most cases, the
mask size corresponds to the focal length of the X-ray tube.
The size of the mask can be reduced if the size of the test sample surface needs to be reduced,
for example, in the case of bulk samples of small size or having a nonplanar surface.
