NDT X-ray Imaging Solutions

We offer NDT solutions for different industries like for the disposal or recycling of used portable batteries or for protective clothing, and we are expanding to more industry-specific NDT X-ray imaging applications. Looking for NDT X-ray solutions for your industry? Contact our team for information, pricing, and availability. A wide range of industrial X-ray inspection systems is available from LINEV Systems for nondestructive material testing, which are compatible with any manufacturing process and can ensure the highest quality and safety standards.

NDT X-ray Imaging

LINEV Systems’ NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) X-ray imaging solutions are used to inspect materials and structures for defects, cracks, or other hidden internal anomalies without damaging them. X-rays are a form of ionizing radiation, which means they carry sufficient energy to remove tightly bound electrons from atoms, creating ions. This ability to penetrate materials makes X-rays ideal for NDT. It is possible to detect flaws or foreign materials inside every tested object with our X-ray NDT systems that provide premium image quality at the industry’s highest level. In radiographic testing (RT), flaws or defects in manufactured components are identified through the use of either x-rays or gamma rays. RT is used to inspect the internal structure of component parts, welds or materials for discontinuities, and is used in a variety of industries such as mining, petrochemicals, steel fabrication, oil and gas, and even medicine. Our NDT X-ray solutions have high penetration power, allowing them to inspect materials that are thick or have multiple layers and also highly sensitive to be able to detect even small defects and anomalies within materials while being versatile and able to inspect a wide range of materials, including metals, ceramics, composites, and plastics. Compared to more destructive testing methods, our NDT X-ray solutions are cost-effective methods of inspecting materials.

There are several different types of radiography in NDT:
  • Conventional Radiography: This is the most basic type of radiography, where a single X-ray image is taken of a material.
  • Computed Tomography (CT): CT involves taking multiple X-ray images from different angles and then using computer algorithms to construct a three-dimensional image of the material.
  • Industrial Computed Tomography (ICT): ICT is similar to CT, but it is designed specifically for use in industrial applications and is capable of imaging large and complex components.
  • Digital Tomosynthesis: Digital tomosynthesis is a type of radiography that uses digital X-ray detectors to produce multiple two-dimensional images of a material, which can then be reconstructed into a three-dimensional image.
  • Dual Energy Radiography: Dual energy radiography uses two X-ray sources with different energy levels to produce two images of a material, which can then be combined to produce a single image with improved contrast.

LINEV Systems BATTERAY

LINEV Systems BATTERAY

X-ray system for sorting of portable waste batteries and accumulators. BATTERAY is a unique technology with no equals at the market. The influence of the upper layer of the battery is excluded. Even if a label or marking are missing, or if the battery is counterfeit the system will correctly determine the type of battery. The BATTERAY recognizes the type of batteries by scanning with X-Ray radiation. The operator is protected from X-rays.

LINEV Systems FLOWD 8020

LINEV Systems FLOWD 8020

FLOWD 8020   Regular X-ray protective clothing testing in compliance with din 6857-2 and ÖNORM S5213. Testing of X-ray personal protective equipment has become easy! Flaws detector FlowD 8020 is created both for non-destructive radiographic tests of X-ray personal protective equipment to approve its further use and for quality control of X-ray protective materials in X-ray PPE manufacturing companies. The device is capable of testing various types of X-ray PPE: aprons, skirts, vests, thyroid collars, etc. Moreover, the core protective material can be of any type: pure lead, leaded rubber, lead free rubber etc.
LINEV Systems’ NDT X-ray imaging solutions are an essential tool for the inspection of materials and structures. With the advancements in X-ray imaging technology, it is now possible to produce high-quality images quickly and easily, making X-ray NDT an essential tool for industrial, engineering, and manufacturing applications. Whether our solutions are used to inspect components for manufacturing quality control, or to ensure the safety and reliability of critical infrastructure, LINEV Systems’ X-ray NDT is a versatile and cost-effective method for ensuring the integrity of materials and structures.
