The spotlight was on two of our most advanced systems — BATTERAY and X-SORT — both designed to accelerate smart recycling and elevate industry standards through cutting-edge integration of AI, X-ray imaging, and optical analytics.
Smarter Battery Sorting with BATTERAY OptiX
At E-Waste World 2025, LINEV Systems unveiled BATTERAY OptiX — an advanced upgrade to our proven battery sorting platform. This new configuration integrates a linear optical camera with the existing X-ray analysis system, enabling precise label recognition and enhanced classification accuracy. The result: up to 98% purity in NiMH/NiCd fractions, reduced rejection rates, and improved identification of mixed or complex battery types.
As a modular enhancement to the original BATTERAY system, OptiX reflects our commitment to continuous innovation and compliance with evolving recycling standards — delivering smarter, faster, and cleaner battery sorting at scale.
New Product Launch: X-SORT
In addition to the BATTERAY upgrade, LINEV Systems introduced X-SORT — a completely new, next-generation material sorting system. Purpose-built for high-throughput environments, X-SORT utilizes a unique combination of dual-energy X-ray transmission, optical RGB detection, and AI-powered analytics to classify waste streams by material composition, color, and shape in real time.
Designed from the ground up for flexibility, speed, and seamless integration, X-SORT sets a new standard for smart waste recovery — helping recyclers maximize resource value while reducing operational complexity.
